**Job Overview**

**Duties**:

- Assist patients in selecting eyewear that meets their prescription and style preferences
- Assist the optician in taking accurate measurements for eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Assist the optician in adjust and repair eyewear as needed
- Educate patients on proper eyewear care and usage
- Maintain inventory of eyeglass frames, lenses, and contact lenses
- Collaborate with the optometrist to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in an optical setting is preferred
- Knowledge of optical sales, medical terminology, and retail sales
- Familiarity with laboratory work related to eyewear production
- Proficiency in using optical equipment and software such as Epic
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service
- Optical retail sales experience is a mandatory

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week

**Benefits**:

- Monday to Friday
