We are looking for an experienced optician/ Student Optician/ Intern Optician to join our optical team. We are running a very busy practice located close to Heartland in Mississauga.

Unique Optical is in business for over 20 years. We believe in true customer service and provide our clients with excellent product. We take pride in exceptional care, that’s why we have clients from near and far. We need to make sure we provide the same appreciation to our clients as they do by trusting us as a vision provider.

Job description

Excellent command of English language and few other languages e.g Punjabi, Hindi but not mandatory.

Must be a team player and able to train co
- workers.

Recommending frames or contact lenses that fits patient’s needs.

Confident and able to gain the trust of the patient by providing an excellent customer service. Must be greeting with smile.

Able to sell low to very high end products. Must be able to start and finish the sale. No customer should be turned away.

Must be able to do lab work. Edging lenses and repairs. Able to work with lensometers, auto refractor, hand edger, nose pad adjusters.

Booking appointments for the optometrist taking payments and claiming to insurance companies.

Able to dispense glasses and contact lenses.

Must have the knowledge of teaching contact lenses insertion and removal. Require patience.

Performing administrative duties such as attending phone calls, filling and keeping records in order.

Prepare work orders, enter job in computer.

Must be well-groomed with appropriate attire.

Always find ways to be productive.

Offering Competitive pay. Must be available to work till 7pm and some Saturdays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent.
