About the Opportunity

Using your HR experience and operational understanding to advise, support and coach our managers, you’ll be an advocate for all areas of HR and the business, ensuring the value-added function of HR is effectively communicated.

Working as a key member of the HR Team and reporting to the HR Manager, you will play a key role in the execution of companywide HR plans.

In collaboration with the HR Manager, you will provide HR support to the operations team, providing guidance for communications, coaching, and ongoing HR business partnering building strong relationships with your stakeholders.

You’ll support all areas of the employee journey including onboarding, employee engagement, leading investigations, leave management, LMIA and foreign worker programs, performance management and other HR programs and initiatives.

This role requires occasional travel to the Head Office in Squamish, B.C., and remote sites. However, we are deeply committed to ensuring you have the flexibility you need to do your best work, whether that’s at home or in the office.

About You

You have 3-5 years’ experience in a HR Generalist role, preferably in a hospitality or remote camp environment. You are well versed in BC and AB provincial HR legislation and Employment Standards Acts.

A CPHR designation, in progress or equivalent experience is required. Previous experience in an HR Generalist role, having supported all aspects of a business preferred.

You must be self-motivated, team orientated and be able to maintain a high level of integrity with the ability to handle employee issues in a professional and confidential manner. You have a strong ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
