We are fast growing wood remanufacture and recycling company located in Delta. We are currently looking for a **Payroll & Office Administration Coordinator**to join our Group company to support our payroll and office administration work in various tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our workforce management processes. This job must be done in-house at our location.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the supervisor to accurately calculate employee wages, deductions, and withholdings using payroll software, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations as well as process payroll on a timely basis.
- Manage the benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries. Ensure accurate recordkeeping of employee participation in benefit plans and coordinate with external vendors or brokers as necessary.
- Maintain accurate employee records in our Human Resources Information System and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Handle employee inquiries and provide timely and effective support on HR/office-related matters, such as benefits and policies.
- Provide support on the office-related duties.

**Qualifications**:

- Preferably 1-2 years’ proven experience in an HR administrative/payroll role or similar capacity in Canada.
- Experience in handling day-to-day HR employee issues, the Record of Employment (ROE) and WCB matters is an asset.
- Certification(s) in Human Resources management is preferred.
- Understanding of Provincial Employment Standards.
- Good understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Good organizational abilities and careful attention to detail.
- Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential material in a professional manner.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Applications.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Type**: Full-Time (Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm/9am-5pm)
