**Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with their needs. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage time efficiently will contribute to a positive shopping experience for our clientele.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the cash register or point-of-sale system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Provide information about promotions, sales, and new products to enhance customer engagement.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to promote a welcoming environment.
- Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels as needed.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner, escalating issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.

**Skills**
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive customer interactions.
- Experience in technology sales or retail sales is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proficient phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 8 per week

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
