Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle transactions accurately while promoting our products effectively.

Duties

  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their inquiries.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical sales support to customers.
  • Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandise display to attract customers.
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and resolve issues promptly.
  • Exhibit strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
  • Uphold company policies regarding cash handling and security measures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on communication and interpersonal interactions.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a diverse customer base.
  • Familiarity with technology sales, including product demos and technical sales, is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and merchandising effectively.
