Loader Operator

IAA, an RB Global, Inc., our Loader Operators are essential to the success of our branch operations. They utilize our front-end loaders to maneuver vehicles around our facilities in preparation for auction.

While Loader Operators always focus on safety first, they understand the importance of a quick and smooth operation. As the frontline of IAA, this critical role enjoys learning new ways to use technology and being at the forefront of the auction industry in all our tools and resources.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Prepare vehicles for the auction by ensuring they have detailed condition reports done, license plates removed and recorded, shrink-wrapping if necessary plus pictures taken
- Ensure vehicles are ready for the auction by numbering and ensuring vehicles are in auction run order
- Provide customer service by assisting customers in retrieving vehicles and or retrieving personal possession's
- Arrange vehicles in yard for auction using loader to align and park vehicle
- Responsible for loading vehicles onto flat beds and tractor trailers
- May include other duties as assigned.
- Majority of the time will be spent outdoors to process vehicle by filling out a detailed condition reports

**Education and Experience**:

- 3-5 years related experience
- Special license required (Class 5) and clean drivers abstract
- Experience as a loader operator is an asset
- Must be willing to work in various weather conditions
- Proven ability to work well in a team environment
- Must have good customer service skills
- Well organized, accurate worker with an eye for detail
