**JOB DESCRIPTION: SUSHI CHEF NOC 62200**
- Provide world class customer service to guests in the restaurant.
- Greeting guests coming into the restaurant.
- Learn menu and prepare several kinds of dishes including but not limited to sushi, and deep fried goods.
- Plating food in a visually appealing manner.
- Being responsible for set-up, stocking, and organization of station.
- Clean and break down station at the end of your shift.
- On the spot problem solving to ensure smooth service in restaurant.
- Take inventory of ingredients and takeout containers.

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**
- Permanent Position, Full Time
- 35-40 hours per week.
- Full time availability is preferred. Staff expected to work weekends.
- 2 years or more of experience as a cook is an asset.
- experience is supervisor position.
- Experience in sushi making
- Post secondary education an asset.
- Good communication skills a must.
- Understanding of food safety and professionalism.
- Team oriented attitude.
- Must provide own chef tools, have a cell phone. Must have their own transportation, valid driver’s license, or be able to otherwise commute reliably to work.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment. Able to work long hours and lift over 50lbs. Work can involve standing for long periods of time.
