Job Title: Bar & Dining Room Manager
Department: Clubhouse/Food & Beverage
Responsible to: Clubhouse Manager

The Bar & Dining Room Manager at Granite Golf Club is someone who wants to be part of an amazing team and build a culture we are proud of. We are seeking a highly personable and self-motivated individual to work closely with our team to make sure our Food and Beverage operation provides exceptional service to our membership.

DUTIES
- Instill pride and provide ongoing coaching and constructive feedback to staff.
- Monitor service, create passion.
- Champion hospitality.
- Purchasing and receiving of product.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works closely with Clubhouse Manager for the execution of daily service and all events.
- Uses P.O.S. system effectively. Responsible for proper end of shift reporting.
- Keeps up to date on and enforces all club policies stated in Granite Golf Club Employee and Member Handbook.
- Acts as Duty Manager and secures building/property at the end of shift.
- Builds and maintains professional relationships with suppliers, members, and clients.
- Ensures bar is stocked and ready, hands-on serving, bartending, and drink service as required.
- Monitors cleanliness of the Clubhouse (including dining areas, washrooms, locker rooms, work areas) before, during and after shifts.
- Assist Clubhouse Manager with monthly inventory, including regular invoicing.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Good judgement.
- Flexible schedule.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask, with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Food and wine knowledge.
- 3 years of supervisory experience.
- 4 years of food & beverage (fine dining) experience.
- Experience in a golf club is considered an asset.
- Prior knowledge of P.O.S. is considered an asset.
- VALID SMART SERVE REQUIRED

Pay: $58,000.00 per year
