**YOUR DAY AS AN UNDERWRITING SYSTEM ANALYST**

**Support System Development and Organization**
- Responsible for setup in Underwriting system (LEO): Insurance companies, agreements, trackers, templates (policy coverage, declaration pages, invoices, wordings etc) for use by TSW users
- In conjunction with LEO development team work to improve and optimize LEO system usage
- Submit tickets to LEO dev team to resolve issues and improve user experience, test fixes and enhancements
- Testing transactions across LEO, Epic (used for accounting purposes) and Lineage / Bordereau reporting
- Develop training documentation/videos for LEO processes and system to train and onboard users
- Experience with Lloyd’s Lineage system and data transfer between LEO and Lineage
- Understanding of data flows between LEO, Epic and Lineage / Bordereau reporting

**Support Underwriting and Wholesale Teams**
- Simplify the process of wholesalers and underwriters to obtain and present a quote, dec page etc.
- Provide support to underwriting assistants with policy and invoice processing
- Train and guide users on LEO capabilities and features
- Lead proactive communication of process and workflow changes within TSW
- Leverage Microsoft Teams as a communication tool to roll out and share info to users
- Works with compliance lead to ensure TSW secures passing grade audits
- Ensure that any established service and quality standards are met
- Strive to continually improve those standards
- Ensures national compliance with policies and procedures

**OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE**
- Insurance background and education - Insurance Policy & Contract Analysis (ideally commercial insurance)
- Experience and use of underwriting and broker management systems
- Experience and understanding of Lloyd’s Lineage system
- Experience and understanding of Applied System’s Epic
- Strong attention to details, organization and time management skills
- Strong communication skills (orally and written) and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of personalities and skill sets
- Knowledge of applicable legislation, standards, policies and procedures within specialty areas

**OFFICE INFORMATION**

Our Vancouver office is situated in Coal Harbour, half a block from the world renowned Seawall. Employees often enjoy activities along the Seawall during their lunch break with Stanley Park being close by. Our office is easily accessible for employees by car and public transit and there are bike storage lockers in our building.
