- Manage and service an existing renewal book of commercial Financial Lines insurance products in addition to generating new accounts from brokers within Western Canada
- Evaluate and underwrite management liability risks by conducting detailed analysis of financial statements, industry trends, portfolio benchmarking and other relevant data to assess exposure
- Review, negotiate and issue policies that comply with regulatory and company standards. Draft and amend coverage to meet the needs of our clients
- Monitor market trends, new developments and competitor offerings in management liability
- Achieve assigned budget targets and maintain profitability
- Collaborate with team members to share insights, improve underwriting processes, and achieve team objectives

**What you’ll need to succeed**
- A post-secondary degree, ideally in business with a focus on finance or accounting, or a combination of relevant industry education and experience
- Exceptional ability to communicate clearly, build relationships, and collaborate effectively with team members and external partners
- Proven ability to work independently, managing tasks and meeting deadlines while also contributing effectively within a team environment
- Strong skills in analyzing data, assessing risks, and making informed decisions
- Previous experience in Financial Lines underwriting is an asset but not mandatory - enthusiasm for learning is key
