The Receiver Assistant’s main function is to assist the Receiver in receiving deliveries in the loading dock. This also includes assisting in storing products, maintaining inventory and managing the loading dock. It is also the Receiver Assistant’s job to fill in when the Receiver is not available.

**Responsibilities**:

- Know and comply with all ARAMARK and client policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and emergencies. - Assists with food deliveries and non-food items for quality and quantity to verify receipts of items on requisition or invoice. - Accepts when in compliance with order; rejects or notes discrepancy when out of compliance. - Assists regarding the methods of storage, identification, and stock location considering temperature, humidity, height, and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space, and other proper storage procedures. - Assists in conducting inventory. - Fills orders or issues supplies or materials from stock. - Compiles reports of use of stock. - Assists to prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock. - Use arithmetic to keep records, take inventory, estimate quantities, or schedule the flow of materials through the loading dock. - Avoid errors in record keeping. - Measure, handle, store, or move large and small items. Assists the Receiver to coordinate with Security staff to ensure proper Dock guidelines are being enforced. Ability to frequently move about a large facility, which could span several hundred thousand feet, to perform work responsibilities - Ability to constantly handle, lift, and operate equipment and inventory. - Ability to constantly identify hazardous situations in the workplace. - Ability to frequently handle objects weighing 35lbs or more. - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work cohesively as part of a team - Ability to focus attention on guest needs, and remaining, calm and courteous - Ability to constantly work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays Delighting Customers/Clients o Customer/Client Insights o Building Performance-Based Relationships o Organizational Collaboration - Driving for Results o Disciplined Execution o Accountability for Excellence o Impact and Influence

**Qualifications**:

- 1+ years of warehouse related experience. - High School Diploma or equivalent. - French language skills are considered an asset. Orientation to include: AODA Training, Anti-Harassment/Violence Training, Cultural Awareness - Health and Safety Training - Forklift and Pallett Jack Training.
