Royal Red Builders is a residential custom home framing company. We are currently expanding our team and are looking for a qualified **Carpenter** to cut, fabricate and install wooden and other structures according to specifications.

**Carpenter's responsibilities include**:

- Reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches
- Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed
- Cutting, shaping and smoothing lumber and other material (e.g. fibreglass) according to measurements
- Working knowledge of building codes
- Communicate finished work orders to supervisors
- Follow established procedures
- Lay out floorings, roofing or drywalls, ensuring they are levelled and compatible
- Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw or pre-constructed items

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of **2 years** framing experience
- Ability to use hand and power tools, including drills, saws, nail guns,..etc
- Must have own transportation to travel to various job sites
- Owning tools is an asset

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:
