Are you passionate about games?

We are seeking a Sales Muse (Retail Sales Associate) to join our team.
As a Sales Muse, you will be the face of A Muse N Games - determining our customers' needs and helping them find the best products for themselves and others. Our Muses play a vital part in enhancing the customer experience by assisting customers with their needs and promoting our diverse range of tabletop games and gaming events. Your contributions will help us maintain our reputation for outstanding service and community involvement.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Create genuine connections with customers through uncovering needs, sharing product information, demoing products, and making personalized recommendations
- Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales

Provide a friendly and efficient cash wrap experience, including accurately ringing customer purchases at the POS and keeping the cash wrap neat, clean, and stocked.
- Support product replenishment activities and maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising to keep the store full and abundant
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for all customers
- Participate in running tournaments, hosting events and other activities that engage the gaming community
- Maintain our values, policies, and procedures

**Qualifications**
- Thrives in a customer-first based retail environment
- Demonstrated sales and customer experience results in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers, being open to feedback, and the ability to adapt quickly. (both written and verbal communication)
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems
- Basic math skills
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Passion for and knowledge of modern board games, cards games, miniature games, role-playing games, and trading card games is considered an asset, but not required.
- Must be available to work peak days and times, including varied shifts of evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Physical Requirements**
- All store positions require constant physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting. Associates are expected to climb ladders and stairs, lift, reach, bend, and kneel to obtain products for customers and to maintain the visual appearance of the store.
- Associates should be able to lift 22 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds.
