This is an opportunity for you to take on responsibilities, build on your already strong skill set and help your team achieve its goals, all in a work environment that is fast-paced, dynamic and fun. **What will you do?** Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role. There will be more, but we can discuss those in person. - Work with a Development team to assist in coordinating and related administrative tasks for multiple mixed-use residential projects through various stages of development; - Assist with Municipal Development Permit submissions and approvals, as well as administrative tasks related to site plan approvals and Zoning by-law amendments; - Assist in the procurement of outside consultants, including tasks aligned with corresponding budgeting, meeting target schedules, and corresponding administrative tasks related to change orders, contracts and obtaining approvals. - Work with a team to maintain high standards to deliver projects that are on time and within budget restraints; - Compile reports with various departments detailing project progress, budgets and schedule compliance; - Work on quarterly reports to outline forecasts vs. approved budgets and communicate the variances within the team; - Review schedules and assess progress towards completion dates, communicate the variance on a timely manner; - Compile various reports on an ad-hoc basis for the team - Manage electronic filing for multiple projects - Manage obtaining and distributing consultant reports - Attend regular internal and external meetings, draft minutes and circulate agendas. Follow up on corresponding deliverables both externally and internally - Coordinate approvals and execution of documents for various parties **What type of experience and skills do you have?** These are only some of the things we’d like you to bring to the table. We can cover the rest when we meet. - Minimum of 2 consecutive years’ experience in real estate development including project administration, scheduling and coordination in residential and mixed-use projects; - Post-Secondary Undergraduate Degree in Architecture, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Real Estate, Planning, Business or related field; - PMP or Agile designation would be preferred; - Experience with high rise and mixed use development is an asset; - Strong knowledge of contract and procurement documents and accounting processes; - Ability to work and lead in a team environment and communicate clearly with internal and external contacts; - Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail, the ability to work on multiple projects and strong organization skills and able to meet tight deadlines; - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, MS Project, and Bluebeam; **Who are we?** Dream is one of Canada’s leading real estate companies, with over $24 billion in assets under management across five Toronto Stock Exchange ("TSX") listed trusts and numerous partnerships across North America and Europe.
