**What’s the ask?**
Reporting to the Operations Manager, Wealth Management, your primary purpose is to work closely with an advisor in the development and management of the advisor’s book of business.
**Your focus** - assisting the advisor on managing both new and existing relationships.
**Your goal** - provide exceptional sales and service support while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
**Your Role on the team will be to**:
You will play a hands-on role supporting the advisor by performing all the administrative and operational tasks involved in investment management
- Client meeting preparation: preparing applicable statements/paperwork/onboarding documents, customer reminders (including materials to bring to meeting), follow
- up meeting duties
- Complete account openings and transactions as directed by the advisor
- Carry out instructions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers for all investment accounts and ensure thorough follow-up
- Participant in activities to support the Investment advisor in their business development
- Generate portfolio management reports - ie householding
**What does it take?**
- Completed college/university diploma in a related field;
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the financial industry, preferably with wealth experience, including a through understanding of financial products and services;
- Client confidentiality is of the upmost importance.
- You have comprehensive knowledge of Investment industry policies, products and procedures;
- Mutual Funds License would be an asset or ability to obtain;
- Investment related courses and accreditations:
- Understanding of industry and firm compliance regulations;
- You have strong prioritization skills and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment;
- You have solid problem-solving skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Ability to meet deadlines;
- You have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products;
- You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
- You pride yourself in your strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy;
- You are able to work independently and are self-motivated;
