Inventory & Demand Planning Supervisor

**POSITION OVERVIEW**

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Inventory and Demand Planning Supervisor will play a critical role in optimizing inventory levels and pricing strategies to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. This position will be responsible for supporting the order processing team, as well as sales and procurement teams to ensure adequate stock on hand to fulfill orders while minimizing waste.

The Order Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for setting a good working example and maintaining a positive work environment. Developing strong working relationships and clear communication between all departments is imperative.

**PLANNING**
- Develop inventory projections to support procurement and sales departments in determining quantity requirements
- Maintain inventory availability to meet sales requirements through development and maintenance of inventory forecasting models to optimize stocking levels and minimizing excess inventory

**PRICING**
- Conduct pricing and margin analysis to identify opportunities for margin improvements
- Maintain pricing databases to ensure accuracy of pricing information across ERP

**ORDER FULFILLMENT**
- Collaborate with Order Processing and Distribution teams to ensure that current and upcoming sales requirements can be met with adequate stock on shelves in support of daily order fulfilment
- Manage inventory adjustments and transfers as needed
- Manage inventory location and BIN assignments to ensure inventory locations remain accurate

**ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead the annual inventory count, with period cycle counts throughout the year as required
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate inventory and pricing analysis findings to senior management
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in inventory management and pricing strategy
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain management, or related field.
- Experience in leading a team of direct reports with experience in coaching and mentorship
- 2+ years of experience in inventory management, pricing analysis, or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with inventory management software or ERP systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of distribution industry practices and trends is preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
