Black Fly Beverage Company is a fast-growing producer of spirit-based beverages and provider of value-added services to the beverage industry with a manufacturing plant in London, Ontario, sales teams and retail distribution throughout Canada. This position is at Black Fly’s London, Ontario plant.

We are currently looking for dependable and responsible Forklift operators to join our Weekend and afternoon shift team. In this position you will be required to work independently to keep up with our growing business.

**Positions Available**:
Weekend Days 7am-7pm Saturday & Sunday (paid 36 hours) - With the opportunity to work a week day 4hr shift to make 40hrs

Weekend Days 11am-11pm Saturday & Sunday (paid 36 hours) - With the opportunity to work a week day 4hr shift to make 40hrs

Afternoons - Full Time - M-F - 3pm - 11pm 40 hours per week

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to operate sit-down forklifts, two-long ride behind, and reach trucks
- Functional knowledge of the mechanics of a forklift to maintain proper forklift operation
- Removing finished product pallets off production line and put into lanes
- Able to use a scanner to input inventory into system and label properly (scanner training provided)
- Bringing raw materials to production lines as required (canning line)
- Must be able to respond to and comprehend verbal and written instructions
- Follow all health and safety protocols
- Participate in keeping warehouse a safe working environment
- Possible other duties assigned when instructed from Production Supervisor

**Certification Required**: Onsite Forklift Operator Certification given

**Experience**: Forklift operator 3 year (required)

**Education**: High School/GED

**Language**: English

**Other Requirements**:

- Steel-toe Safety Footwear (CSA Approved)
- Flexibility to work overtime if needed
- Basic computer knowledge
- On-time/punctual
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to adapt to climate changes in a mínimally climate-controlled warehouse
- Ability to stand for at least 9hrs a day
- Ability to lift, carry, push or pull weights up to 50lbs
