**Position Summary**

The Dispatcher is responsible for supporting and monitoring all pickup and delivery appointment for orders. Your role involves assigning routes and loads to drivers, monitoring their progress, and ensuring on-time deliveries while responding to unforeseen challenges such as traffic or weather disruptions. Additionally, you will maintain effective communication with drivers, customers, and other departments to streamline logistics and contribute to the efficient and reliable operation of our trucking services.

**Location: Burnaby, BC**

**Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30-5:00**

**What you will do**
- Enter customers order into the TMS (Transportation Management System).
- Book pickup and delivery appointments for orders.
- lan local pickup and deliveries among pool of local tractor and 5-ton drivers.
- Resolve day-to-day dispatch issues such as checking driver’s status throughout the day, relaying pickup and/or delivery issues to Account Representative.
- Arrange 3rd party carriers to cover extra loads.

**What You’ll Bring**
- 1-2 years Experience an asset (transportation preferred).
- High school diploma.
- Legally Eligable to work in Canada.
