Project Cost Controller

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets and expenditures, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Track all project costs, implementing control systems, cost codes, and updating the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Analyze project cost variances, providing recommendations for cost-saving measures.
- Forecast and report on project financial performance, collaborating with Finance and Accounting teams.
- Prepare and update project cash flows and forecasts, contributing to the development of comprehensive project plans.
- Collaborate with project managers to establish milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Contribute to the creation of risk assessment and mitigation plans.
- Allocate and monitor resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient utilization.
- Track project progress, maintaining alignment with project plans.
- Create and maintain project progress metrics and KPIs using earned value methods.
- Provide regular updates to project teams and stakeholders, presenting project status reports to management.
- Maintain project documentation, including contracts, invoices, and relevant records.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, departments, and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers to align on project goals and objectives.
- Serve as a point of contact for project-related inquiries and information sharing.
- Ensure project processes and deliverables meet quality standards, recommending continuous improvements.
- Assist in identifying and resolving issues that may impact project performance and quality.
- Help manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget through formal change control procedures.
- Promote and maintain a productive and collaborative team working environment.
- Assist in developing project control department processes, procedures, and tools.
- Comply with Amico Affiliates' safety policies and procedures.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.

**Key Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as construction management, engineering, or business administration is required.
- Proven experience of 3-7 years in project management, construction, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in project planning, scheduling, cost management, risk management, and contract administration.
- Strong skills in utilizing tools such as Excel, Power BI, and project control software to analyze and manage project data effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling successful interaction with stakeholders and team members.
- Industry certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Cost Professional (CCP), or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
- Adeptness in adapting to changes in project scope, schedules, and budgets.
- Commitment to upholding safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance in all project activities.
- Keen attention to detail with a focus on maintaining quality standards in project processes and deliverables.
- Proactive in identifying and resolving issues that may impact project performance and quality.
- Collaborative mindset, promoting a positive and productive team working environment.
- Flexibility to take on additional duties as assigned in a dynamic project environment.

**Salary**: $28.58-$38.68 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:
