**_ Duties and Responsibilities_**
- Responsible for all administrative and related duties, including time entry and billing;
- Preparation of correspondence, drafting and preparing documents and procedures;
- Maintain an efficient file management and bring forward system;
- Monitor procedural delays;
- Organizing and assembling books of authorities;
- Communication with various bailiffs, court representatives, and registries;
- Communication with legal assistants, paralegals, other lawyers and clients;
- Other duties as required.
**_ Knowledge, Qualities & Experience Required_**
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant, preferably in the areas of Litigation or Real Estate;
- Knowledge and understanding of Québec litigation proceedings;
- Graduate of an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant program or relevant experience;
- Advanced PC skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.);
- Able to maintain productivity in a highly dynamic environment;
- Dedicated to providing quality service to clients and service beyond expectations;
- Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills with ability to listen effectively and respond appropriately;
- Strong ability to perform well in a high pressure environment and meet tight deadlines;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Excellent ability to manage multiple clients and priorities with resourcefulness and autonomy, and to achieve objectives with mínimal supervision.
