**Summary**:
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the Accounting Clerk (Accounts Payable) is responsible for daily reconciliations relating to cash and credit cards transactions along with posting related journal entries, maintaining customer accounts, and assisting with all other functions within the Accounts Receivable and Finance departments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for printing of invoices, credits and documents sent to the Accounts Payable general mailbox and SPS portal for payment processing.
- Sort invoices according to payment terms to ensure vendors are paid in a timely manner.
- Verify receipts to expense claims or credit card summary report and bring forward any discrepancies found.
- Match paid invoices to printed cheques by verifying the following information are correct: remittance address, invoice no., amount, currency. Ensure that backup for deductions are attached to the cheque

**Qualifications**:

- Associate degree in accounting or general business.
- One to two years related experience in Accounts Payable Department.
- Attention to detail with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively function as a team player both within the department and throughout the corporation.
