We are seeking a **passionate, dedicated Infant-Toddler Early Childhood Teacher** to join our close-knit team. In this pivotal role you will create a warm, inclusive environment that promotes each child’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth. You will collaborate with colleagues to plan engaging experiences, communicate openly with families, and model best practices that reflect BC licensing standards and the latest early-learning research.

**Duties**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment for children.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social interactions and emotional growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s development and classroom activities.
- Utilize technology for classroom management and lesson planning.

**Skills** **and Requirements**
- **MUST hold a valid IT Certification**:

- Strong leadership abilities to guide children in their learning journey.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Effective time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities in a busy classroom setting.
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in computer operation for administrative tasks and lesson planning.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate working persons with disabilities or diverse learning needs.
- A commitment to creating an inclusive environment that supports all students' needs.

**Incumbent must clear a criminal record background search, with no current or prior criminal record(s) working with Children.**

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
