HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR (REMOTE in Ontario)

Under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator provides full-time support in functional areas of human resources, including but not limited to, recruitment, personnel records, employee relations and job orientations. Additionally, the HR Coordinator will interact with Call Centre Management staff, employees, and job applicants. Duties include, but not limited to, Recruitment & Selection, Health & Safety, Employee Relations, and Benefits Administration. The HR Coordinator will manage job postings and will use social media platforms, job boards and other strategies to heighten the Company’s visibility and fulfil job orders. While maintaining ongoing communication with HR Manager, the HR Coordinator will conduct telephone screenings, in-person interviews and will assess and refer qualified applicants to fill vacancies. The HR coordinator will assist in fulfillment of departmental mission and responsibilities.

**Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities**:
**_20% HR Administration - _**Serves as the administrator for the human resources department in Canada by providing HR administrative support to various HR responsibilities to include Health & Safety initiatives, Employee Relations and Benefits Administration. Also assists with HRIS and employee data input, employee file maintenance and assists in the administration of employee programs as required. May provide general departmental information and/or direction and assistance in completion of various forms, and policy and procedural information and acknowledgments.

**10% Employee Relations-**Supports employees by servicing requests, facilitating meetings, answering questions, addressing complaints and provides appropriate resources and information. Assists the HR Manager with various employee performance related issues ie. Discipline, work accommodations and terminations

**Required Qualifications**

**Education, Licensing, Certification, and Experience**
- Human Resources Certificate / Diploma and/or a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources
- CHRP designation an asset
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in the human resources field
- Minimum 1 year of recruitment experience

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Proven recruitment experience
- The ability to be innovative and flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to handle conflict and disgruntled employees
- Must be a team-player
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills
- Ability to function in a fast-paced and stressful environment
- Ability to project and maintain a high level of integrity and trust
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; establishes and builds rapport through promote and effective communication
- Knowledge and experience with all applicable employment legislation ie. ESA, AODA, Human Rights
- Effectively respond to safety and security requirements and adhere to Occupational Health & Safety Act
- PC skills - Word, PowerPoint, Excel and HRIS

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
