**Job Purpose**:
Responsible for servicing assigned accounts on a daily basis, ensuring clients are informed with respect to the progress of their material and ensuring that the necessary departments are aware of the correct procedures for handling various materials. In addition, the incumbent will process the required documentation, ensuring its timeliness and accuracy.

**This position has the following Principal responsibilities**:

- Manage all aspects of assigned accounts from order entry to shipment of product and settlement of metal accounts and resolutions of discrepancies or issues.
- Acts as liaison between Asahi Refining and assigned client accounts to ensure a high level of service.
- Communicates regularly with the clients on matters such as scheduling and market prices,
- Forecast potential metal movement for each client. Review client accounts receivable on a regular basis.
- Reconciling metal account balances.
- Ensures timeliness and accuracy of orders regarding dates, weights, payment terms, refining terms, settlement amounts and consignment positions.
- Coordinates payment of funds and advising clients of payment as required.
- Responsible for various aspects of accounts receivable for designated accounts and miscellaneous accounts.
- Maintains up-to-date on clients concerning the physical aspects of the refining lots as well as the metal sales and payments against each lot.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications for this position are**:

- Two - five years previous experience working in an inside sales role.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Post-secondary education in a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Possess a strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and numeracy skills; capable of creating and maintaining spreadsheets.
- Advanced level computer skills Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work and communicate with a wide variety of people from all levels of the organization.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

**Experience**:

- previous experience working in an inside sales role: 5 years (preferred)
