Overview:
Our Saviour Childcare Center is an established not-for-profit Child Care Center. we are looking for a dynamic Childcare Center Supervisor to lead our team. As Supervisor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children and contribute to their early childhood education.

**Responsibilities**:

- Direct supervision of staff, classroom, and curriculum to ensure quality of care and learning.
- Ensure compliance with British Columbia Child Care licensing regulations.
- Create a warm, supportive, healthy, and engaging early learning environment for both children and caregivers.
- Support the Early Childhood Educators with the ongoing implementation of appropriate teaching methodology.
- Assist Early Childhood Educators with resolution of sensitive situations with families or other staff members.
- Hire, orient, supervise, guide, motivate, and provide ongoing training and evaluation of all ECE staff.
- Coordinate and oversee admissions to the center, including answering questions and providing tours.
- Report Monthly to the Board on any important issues.
- promote the Childcare Center in the community.

**Requirements**:

- A valid Early Education Certificate.
- 3-5 years' experience managing a child care facility.
- Working knowledge of BC Childcare Licensing regulations.
- A valid safety oriented First Aid Certificate.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues.
- proficiency with computer and general administration work.
