**Overall responsibility**:

- Supervises and coordinates activities of food preparation, kitchen, pantry, and storeroom personnel and purchases or requisitions foodstuffs and kitchen supplies: Plans or participates in planning menus, preparing and apportioning foods.
- To manage all catering related duties: Schedule, ordering, deliveries, standards, distribution, set up etc
- To cook all food that is not provided by catering including pastries, salads, sandwiches etc
- Supervises all cooking personnel, such as kitchen and stewarding reps to ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment.
- Supervises cooks, tastes food and observes food to ensure conformance with recipes and appearance standards.
- Manages all beverages bottles returns and recycling
- Manage kitchen schedule
- Supervises inventory, storage, and distribution of foodstuffs and supplies.
- Trains new stewards/prep on the job.
- To ensure the expectations of our passengers are met and surpassed in terms of service excellence and food quality while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- To prepare food according to the menus and ensure food quality, the efficiency of preparation and nice presentation
- To follow the company’s guidelines for the size of food proportions and standardization of menus
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Order supplies and equipment
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- To maintain a clean environment in the kitchen and storage area
- To maintain good hygiene when preparing foods
- To transfer food/beverage to different locations within the airport area when needed
- Work with mínimal supervision
- To be able to work as a team and assist other colleagues with different responsibilities
- To take initiative to identify areas for improvement and participate in continual improvement activities.
- To ensure that proper cleaning procedures are adhered to and personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn at all times during the shift. Employees are expected to follow all health and safety regulations, enforced and updated by the company.
- To undertake other jobs assigned by the management from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Kitchen supervisory experience
- Must have Food Handler Certificate
- Strong sense of customer service, attention to detail
- Communication and writing skills
- Good organizational skills, self-motivated and positive attitude
- Ability to prioritize and problem-solving ability
- Able to stand for long hours
- Able to lift up to 50lbs baggage

**As per federal government requirements, all airport workers must b.e fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination is required.
