**THE POSITION**

**HOW YOU WILL BE MAKING AN IMPACT**
- Bring together the quality activities of all manufacturing segments for overall planning and priorities in line with the objectives of the company.
- Review and resolve quality control problems/concerns with the quality team and others including vendors, customers, quality control personnel, and any personnel related to production.
- Lead team to improve quality control and quality assurance procedures including documentation, reporting, and performance metrics.
- Coordinate and lead audits with various OEM customers.
- Develop and fortify existing quality inspection requirements based on specific part standards, as defined by internal engineering and customer criteria.
- Ensure collaboration between quality team and other departments throughout the organization.
- Enhance and manage internal/external corrective and preventive action processes.
- Working with internal teams to enact vendor quality improvement initiatives.
- Coordinates and assists with vendor inspections and product inspections, as necessary.
- Coordinate between quality teams in Canada and Overseas.

**WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU REQUIRE**
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Quality leadership role in a Manufacturing setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
- In-depth understanding of quality procedures.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft tools and quality related software.
- Able to travel within Canada, the USA, and internationally, as required.
