As a Sheet Metal Technician, you will be working primarily in camp-based environments surrounding oil and gas customers. Your role will involve hands-on work for various commercial and industrial projects, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and high-quality craftsmanship.

**Qualifications**:

- **Journeyman Sheet Metal Ticket**:

- Previous experience in commercial/industrial gas fitting is a must.
- Experience in job planning and supervisory roles is considered an asset.
- Must be willing to work out-of-town and in camp settings.
- **Clean driver’s abstract** (required for driving company vehicles).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Professionalism and strong adherence to safety regulations are critical.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Installation & Maintenance**: Install and service Sheet Metal and HVAC systems in remote camps and facilities
- Ensure compliance with **local and provincial safety regulations**:

- Perform **regular maintenance** and troubleshooting of HVAC and refrigeration units
- **Shift flexibility** based on client requirements, with a focus on remote camp installations
- **Problem-solving**: Address technical issues promptly and effectively
- **Team Collaboration**: Work alongside fellow technicians and camp personnel in a team-oriented environment

**Job Requirements**:

- **Journeyman**:must have their Journeyman Ticket
- **Apprentices**:must be enrolled in a Sheet Metal apprenticeship program
- **HVAC/Refrigeration and Air Conditioning experience**:

- **Propane experience** and knowledge of propane codes is a strong asset
- Must be **willing to travel** and adaptable to **irregular shifts**:

- Strong **analytical and troubleshooting** skills
- Excellent **communication** skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work **independently** and in a team
- **Valid driver’s license** is required
- Attention to detail and precision in all tasks
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to lift over 50 lbs and work in various conditions
- Valid Driver's License

**Schedule**:

- 10-12 hour shifts
- Day shifts available
