**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel welcomed.
- Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations using a POS system.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Provide product demonstrations and upsell salon products to enhance customer experience.
- Assist in merchandising and stocking retail products to ensure optimal presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
- Address client inquiries via phone with excellent phone etiquette.
- Support salon staff by coordinating schedules and managing daily operations.
- Utilize basic math skills for retail sales transactions and inventory management.
- Foster a positive environment through effective communication with clients and team members.

**Skills**
- Strong customer service orientation with experience in retail sales.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for transactions and appointment management.
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Experience in supervising staff or assisting in training new employees is a plus.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients professionally.
- Familiarity with merchandising techniques and retail math principles.
- Basic cashiering skills with an understanding of cash handling procedures.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
