Part-time Florist

**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Create stunning floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, and special events.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on floral care.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a POS system.
- Maintain an organized workspace and ensure that the shop is clean and visually appealing.
- Assist with inventory management.
- Engage in landscape maintenance tasks when required, ensuring that outdoor displays are well-kept.
- Utilize multilingual skills to assist a diverse customer base.

**Requirements**:

- Must have a MINIMUM ONE(1) YEAR EXPERIENCE in floral design.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Experience with cash handling and familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A passion for gardening and knowledge of plant care is desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
