We are hiring passionate Part time Florists to join our team at Joshua's Greenery in Barrie. ON.

**Responsibilities**

**Floral Design**: Create floral arrangements for various occasions

**Customer Service**: Assist customers in selecting appropriate flowers and arrangements based on their preferences and the occasion. Provide knowledgeable advice on flower care and maintenance. Handling orders via person, phone or online.

**Floral Care**: Monitor and manage floral inventory, ensuring fresh and high-quality flowers are always available. Prep flowers as needed.

**Maintaining Shop Appearance**:Keep the floral shop clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing. Ensure that displays and arrangements are regularly updated.

**Event Setup**: Assist with the setup of floral arrangements for events, including weddings and funerals. Ensure timely arrangements to clients.

**Collaboration**:Work closely with other team members, including florist, receptionist and delivery personnel, to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer satisfaction.

**Requirements**:
A high school diploma is required.

Fluent in English speaking and writing

Proven experience as a Florist ** **Minimum 2 years FLORIST experience**

Basic skills in Microsoft Office word and excel

Attention to detail and precision.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, and able to handle lots of standing

**Salary**: $18.00-$23.00 per hour based on experience and skills

Expected hours: over 20 hours per week, will be increased when busy occasions.
