**About the Opportunity**
AML Oceanographic is seeking a **Production Manager **to join our team in **Victoria, BC, on a full-time basis.**
The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Recommending measures to improve methods and processes, work performance, and quality control
- Ensuring that all team members have received appropriate safety training (WHMIS, Hazardous Materials, Working with High Voltage, etc.)
- Being responsible for ensuring SOPs are current and reflect modern manufacturing techniques
- Building and maintaining a team of A-players
- Meeting IGP targets and leading time objectives
- Forecasting and advocating for necessary resources
- Ensuring the job schedule is always clean and clearly communicated to technicians
- Resolving production issues, organizing workflows, and ensuring SOPs are current and alive
**About You**
In order to qualify for this role, you will have **at least 5 years of related production management experience. **Knowledge of ISOs or the different manufacturing methodologies (one-piece flow, TPS, batch build, manufacturing cubes, etc.) along with their strengths and weaknesses would be strong assets.
Above all, you are driven and cooperative with an innovative approach to solving problems.
