**Job Summary**

The Production Labourer reports to the Shop Foreman. The main tasks for this position are assembly, shipping and receiving of goods, machine operating, and maintaining a clean shop.

**Core Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Receiving and tracking all items required for any given job.
- Gathering, packaging, and tracking all outbound items for any given job to make sure they arrive at site in good condition and with the proper paperwork.
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- assembly of cabinets.
- Operating power tools and high value machines such as CNCs, Table Saws, and Edgebanding machine.
- Cutting closet rod and drilling doors for hinges.
- Shop Cleanup.

**Requirements for Position**
- Ability to work cooperatively as a team member and on your own.
- Ability to manage tasks under tight deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task and move efficiently between different responsibilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and well organized.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes for just in time delivery.
- Good computer skills and the ability to understand the schedule and the timeclock.
- Have a valid drivers license and the ability to drive a 1-ton truck.
- The ability to safely operate a forklift.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Saanichton, BC V8M 2A5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
