**Job Description**:
AECOM's Buildings + Places is seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager to join our team. This position is based out of Ottawa.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Assists the Project Management team with management administration on a small to moderate size and scope project, or a portion of a larger, more complex project, following set guidelines for tasks.
- Employee receives clear and specific instructions and/or follows standardized instructions or procedures without ongoing supervision. Work is checked for accuracy, adequacy and adherence to instructions. Employee consults with supervisor on matters not covered in the original instructions.
- May interface with design team.
- May work closely with BIM team and use modelling software.
- May assist with and monitor change orders
- May assist with and review financial reporting
- Reviews project costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract
- Works with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate.
- Attend meetings and report on project tasks as needed.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**:
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
+ University education in Engineering, Finance,, Business, or Economics with applicable further development in Project Management would be preferred.

+ 2 years of relatable experience.

Additional Information

Offered rate of compensation in Ottawa will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $53K - $91K.
