Canada Paving and Construction is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our team spanning multiple construction companies.

We are looking for a team player to partake in planning, project management, new/rehabilitation projects. This position is responsible for the direction, coordination, control and execution of specific construction projects in accordance with project management best practices and ensuring the desired outcomes.

**Education**

An equivalent combination of education, training and extensive experience relevant to the position may be considered.

CET or PMP Certifications.

5 years experience in construction project management.

**Experience**

Significant and recent experience in coordinating construction projects, construction, renovation and rehabilitation.

Experience using software solutions for preparing reports, development of spreadsheets, and data analysis.

Significant and recent experience providing advice and recommendations in developing and articulating requirements for specific projects in terms of scope, timing, budget and approvals.

Experience identifying and tracking project risks, develop mitigation plans to manage risks, minimize exposure of the organization to risks and non-compliance to policies and regulations.

Proficient in computers and Microsoft Office programs.

Experience in scheduling.

Experience reading layouts and grades and reading construction drawings.

Knowledge in understanding specifications and OPSS details.

Experience in negotiating and decision-making.

Experience in deficiency resolutions and follow ups.

Trucking and crew coordination.

Health & Safety knowledge and implementation.

**Condition of Employment**

Use and maintain the safety materials, equipment, tools, devices and clothing provided and intended for their protection observing all safety instructions, directives, standards, programs and safe work procedures related to the safe conduct of their work as well as participate in safety training.
