Are you passionate about animal care and looking to grow in a supportive, team-oriented environment? We’re a **family-owned** practice and we’re looking for a compassionate, reliable **Veterinary Assistant** to join our amazing teams at **Norgate Animal Hospital** and our brand-new sister clinic, **Homer Animal Hospital**. This position offers variety and flexibility, with the opportunity to work between both locations as needed.

What You’ll Do:

- Assist veterinarians and technicians with exams, treatments, and procedures
- Provide gentle and professional animal handling
- Monitor patients and report any changes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, kennels, and treatment areas
- Support client communication and ensure an excellent customer experience
- Perform general administrative tasks including answering the phone, booking appointments, and assisting at the front desk

What We’re Looking For:

- Prior experience as a Veterinary Assistant or in an animal care setting is required
- Comfortable working with and handling cats and dogs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible and willing to work at **both North Vancouver and Vancouver locations** as needed
- A positive attitude and passion for animal health and welfare

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
