Currently, we seek motivated and mechanically inclined individuals for our manufacturing location.

**CNC Set-Up Operator, Shirley Drive, Kitchener. DAY**

**HOURS: DAY - Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm, Friday - 7am - 3pm.**

**Responsibilities include**:

- Operations include but are not limited to set up production, verification, inspection, and minor program editing
- Set up and run vertical or horizontal CNC milling machines and/or CNC lathes
- Able to work with little supervision
- Must adhere to strict tolerances, able to work proficiently with precision measuring equipment, ie. Vernier/micrometer, calibrate tools and set tool offsets
- Analyze deviations from specifications/tolerances and adjust offsets accordingly
- Any other related duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a CNC Set Up Operator
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively and efficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Fanuc/Haas controls, Brothers, Matsuura mills

**Physical Demands**:

- Required to carry out routine, repetitive tasks such as reaching, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, lifting, packing, stacking, bending, climbing / descending / going under or on equipment as well as some physical lifting.
- Regularly exposed to noise, temperature change and lubricants and vibration.
- Wears all PPE as required.
