The Role:
The VP of Partner Relations will leverage a combination of skills to develop and oversee all critical projects that support ApplyBoard’s short term and long-term vision. The VP of Partner Relations will have a successful track record in B2B sales and will be responsible for implementing KPIs, metrics, and quotas, that lead the team to success.

What you'll be doing every day:
- Overall leadership and management to the continuing professional education portfolio.- Lead the operations and provide the strategic direction, management and leadership of a portfolio of accounts- Developing partnerships with schools that ApplyBoard does not currently partner with and expand current partnerships- Develop and implement strategic, financial, operational, and administrative plans and tactics.- Lead the team that is responsible for onboarding new partner schools- Develop and oversee all outreach and communications strategies to market and promote the ApplyBoard’s both on the ground and digitally. This may include event coordination, activation campaigns, business development, and more.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to further our corporate goals.- Implement and execute successful growth strategies across the company to build out- ApplyBoard mentor network (employees of companies, personal networks)- Strategic partner network (educational institutions, government institutions, advocates, and corporations)- Integrate feedback from the field and various stakeholders to product development to better the ApplyBoard platform.- Support both internal operational special projects and external special projects with the CMO and Co-Founder’

What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of work experience in B2B- 7 plus years in experience in an Educational environment- High negotiation skills with key decision-makers in the education industry.- Lead a team of 20+ before- Ability to take the initiative within a fast-paced, nimble new company- Entrepreneurial spirit and optimism- Exemplary communication and storytelling skills- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail- Curiosity, creativity and adaptability as the company grows- Exceptional confidence and executive presence- Ability to build trust across various industries, levels, and business lines- Able to work with all levels of individuals all the way up to the C-Suite- Opportunity to get in at the ground level of a transformative, high-growth tech company that is committed to doing good
