**Sales Manager / Writer Manager**

We’re looking for a motivated **Sales Manager / Writer Manager** to lead our front counter sales team and ensure our shop runs smoothly.
**Position Overview**
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Team Leadership & Management**
- Supervise, coach, and motivate a small sales team to meet sales targets and service standards.
- Maintain and enforce company policies, values, and systems.
- Partner with ownership on scheduling, payroll inputs, and performance management.
- **Sales & Customer Experience**
- Sell recommended repairs and services using proven processes and best practices.
- Monitor team sales performance, provide feedback, and lead by example.
- Ensure all customer commitments are honored and issues are resolved quickly.
- Address customer complaints and negative feedback professionally, aiming for long-term satisfaction.
- **Workflow & Shop Operations**
- Work closely with the foreman and technicians to balance workloads and maximize efficiency.
- Monitor shop workflow through software systems and workflow boards.
- Step in as needed — whether running a shuttle, helping at the counter, or assisting customers directly.
- **Cost & Quality Control**
- Keep expenses in check while maintaining quality and service standards.
- Identify ways to improve processes, efficiency, and profitability.
**Qualifications**
- **Management Experience**: 2+ years in a management or supervisory role.
- **Sales Experience**: 1+ year in sales, preferably automotive or service industry.
- **Strong Communication**: Able to communicate clearly in person, over the phone, and in writing.
- **Organized & Focused**: Thrives in a fast-paced environment with constant activity.
- **Basic Math Skills**: Confident with calculations, estimates, and handling invoices.
- **Valid Driver’s License**: Able to operate customer vehicles safely.

Pay: $80,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
