Full function of AP/AR
- Maintain GL and subsidiary ledgers by creating, verifying, and posting standards and adjusting journal entries
- Prepare monthly reconciliations for credit cards and banks
- Prepare and file GST/ HST/ EHT/ WSIB and any other government
required documents.
- Maintain fixed asset and inventory subledgers
- Prepare Intercompany invoicing
- Payroll preparation with commission calculations and issuance of T4 slips
- Analyze actual results and provides explanations for variances to prior month and plan
- Respond to requests from operations & acts as support to CEO
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year end close
- Develop and support processes to ensure general ledger records are accessible and appropriate for tax department and audits
- Develop, monitor, and test internal controls
- Work with the Operations teams to ensure proper accounting and internal controls are maintained on company-wide basis
- Help monitor and analyze business’ financial performance and assists with budgeting/planning
- Mentor junior team member
- Collaborate with the accounting team members to maintain company financial health

**Salary**: $15.00-$23.00 per hour
