**The position**:
Reporting to the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager is responsible in helping on the administrative management of the store, sales objectives, customer service, visual merchandising, supervision and internal training.
True company ambassador, the position holder will have to welcome, advise and retain the clientele.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in supervising, motivating and managing employees;
- Support in recruiting and employee training;
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and an outstanding shopping experience;
- Develop long lasting customer relationships;
- Maximize sales and profitability;
- Assist in determining and communicating sales objectives to employees;
- Assist in planning and managing store operations;
- Ensure store openings and closings;
- Reinforce company policies and procedures;
- Support in safety programs;
- Validate Sales Reports;
- Promote and complete visual merchandising of products;
- Ensure regular store maintenance;
- Complete work schedule;
- Check inventory and place product orders;
- All other related tasks.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a related position or equivalent;
- Demonstrate a strong sense of autonomy and initiative;
- Skilled communicator;
- Have a good sense of organization and work planning;
- Available to work days, evenings and weekends.
