**Driver/Utility Support** to join our night shift team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that will oversee the transfer of goods and materials between 2 inter-company sites. We are looking for a positive, energetic person who is highly motivated and wants to work in a team environment
- This position operates on a straight day shift (7am to 3pm) basis._**What we offer**:

**Responsibilities**
- Drive and operate 5-ton company truck
- Complete pre-trip inspection checklist of truck prior to trip
- Pick-up and deliver work-in-progress items and print materials between 3 sites within the company
- Communicate efficiently with all company sites and Team Leaders to coordinate the delivery of the required goods and materials
- Ensure all loads are stable and secure while delivering
- Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo
- Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance including but not limited to fuel levels, fluid levels, tire pressure etc.
- Comply with all safe work practices, established policies and procedures
- Adhere to and respect all traffic motor laws ‘
- Other duties as assigned by the Team Leader/Management

**Physical Demands**
- Must be able to lift 50lbs consistently for duration of shift
- Engage in frequent bending, stopping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
- Involves repetitive motions
- Adaptable to relative sound pressure levels
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions due to the nature of the role

**Requirements/Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience driving a 5-ton (or heavier) truck required
- Minimum 1 year experience operating a pallet jack required
- Minimum 1 year experience operating a forklift preferred
- Full G-class license required
- Clean driving record with no previous infractions required
- Use of proper PPE while performing functions, CSA steel toed safety boots are mandatory
- Must be willing to work mandatory overtime as business needs require
- Excellent communication skills: written, electronic, and oral
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities in a team based setting
- Must be able to meet all physical demands of job
