We are currently recruiting for a **Surveyor** to join our team. The Surveyor is responsible for conducting topographical land surveys, spatial analysis, spatial data management, cartographic mapping, and aerial photograph interpretation for the purpose of property division, development and exploration purposes using precision surveying and mapping equipment.

**Responsiblities**:

- Assist with the development of detailed land survey plans
- Utilize GPS and complex surveyor's tools
- Conduct topographical surveys
- Create and maintain detailed survey information
- Accurately record all survey information for future reference and legal purposes
- Accurately indicate elevations, property lines and land contours
- Research titles, deeds, previous surveys, maps, etc. as required
- Maintain instruments and other equipment
- Conduct complex spatial analysis and accurately manage spatial data
- Conduct cartographic mapping
- Interpret aerial photographs
- Review and analysis of previous spatial data
- Ensure that a high degree of standardization is met
- Perform additional assignments and responsibilities as assumed or requested from time to time

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Strong working knowledge of complex surveyor's tools and GPS equipment
- Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects
- Strong working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials, and in general the required standards applicable to the Ontario construction industry
- A post-secondary diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related fields, and or previous work experience obtained over a minimum of 3 years
- Valid driver’s licence and clean driver’s abstract is required
- C.E.T. and or equivalent combinations of technical training is an asset
