At DMR Diesel we are a fast paced and family orientated shop with the willingness to grow as a team. This is a shop and or field position with a large range of units and equipment to work on. Gain experience and understanding to go further and get your journey person papers and expand your potential. As part of the Service team, you will be an integral part of ensuring parts and machinery are properly functioning—an essential detail in keeping the business running.

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

- Diagnose and inspect equipment for faults and malfunctions
- Repair and adjust equipment and replace defective parts
- Perform inspections, preseason repair lists and running repairs
- Complete work orders and enter technician notes into computer
- Adhere to all occupational health and safety standards as the company is committed to the protection and wellness of its employees

Job Requirements and Qualifications Include:

- Ability to work under mínimal supervision
- Must be fluent in the English language
- Willing to obtain CVIP inspection upon completion of apprenticeship is considered an asset
- Possess problem solving skills
- Second year heavy equipment technician or better preferred

We offer an exceptional compensation structure with benefits including health, work boot allowance, and personal days.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $33.00-$39.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Acheson, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- mechanical: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Trade Certificate (preferred)
- Driving Licence (required)
- Apprentship (required)
