General Labourer

We are currently seeking self-motivated, skilled labourers to assist on our ever-expanding portfolio of commercial and residential landscape projects. Thunderbolt Contracting is a family-owned landscape contractor located in the Nation’s Capital since 1992. We have a dedicated team of over 150 employees and a modern fleet of equipment to take care of each project from start to finish. **Responsibilities**:

- Construct walkways, patios, retaining walls, etc.
- Plant trees, shrubs, perennials, flowers etc.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required to complete project.
- Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, and hand lifting/carrying.
- Operate various hand tools, power tools and small engine equipment including quick cut, plate packer, chainsaw, etc.
- Follow direction of site foreman to complete tasks in a safe and timely manner.
- Assist in winter operations by clearing and salting of snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots for various residential and commercial properties during the winter months.
- Communicate issues relating to employee relations, equipment issues, customer issues - make suggestions for solutions.
- Maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment.
- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures prescribed by the Company and WHMIS Guidelines in performance of duties.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
