**Overview**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting physician before and during consultation to write clinical notes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to medical terminology and standards. Your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining comprehensive electronic medical records that support patient care and clinical documentation.
**Responsibilities**
- Transcribe consultation and examination findings during appointments into accurate written clinical notes.
- Ensure that all medical terminology is used correctly and appropriately throughout documentation.
- Review and edit transcriptions for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and clarity.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with medical staff to clarify any unclear dictations or terminology.
- Organize and manage electronic medical records efficiently to ensure easy retrieval of information.
- Take history of patient before Physician arrives in room to examine patient.
**Skills**
- Proficiency in medical office procedures and practices.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology to accurately transcribe reports.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for efficient documentation management.
- Good Typing Speed, expected near 50 words per minute.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals.
