As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the supervision of experienced plumbers, gaining hands-on experience and learning essential skills in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform plumbing tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts and specifications.
- Help with welding tasks as needed for pipe fittings and connections.
- Support HVAC installations by assisting with ductwork and piping as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
**Experience**
- Previous experience or coursework related to plumbing or construction is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and HVAC systems is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints effectively is advantageous.
- Strong willingness to learn new skills and techniques in the plumbing trade.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.
