St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting a **Full Time, Probationary, Plumber/Gasfitter**for St. Albert Public Schools.

More than 9000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools. From Preschool to Grade 12, our students learn and succeed in programs that are recognized for excellence and their focus on citizenship and sound values.

**Hours of Work**:40.0 hrs. /week; 8.0hrs. /day; Monday-Friday; Full Time, Probationary

**Hourly Rate**:$38.53 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement

**Specific Needs/Requirements for this position**:

- Must have a current valid Plumber/Gasfitter designation
- Must have current valid Building Operator Certification
- Valid Driver’s license, Class 5 (current driver abstract will be required)
- Experience relating to construction and overall maintenance of facilities relating to Plumbing/Gasfitting in a commercial setting
- HVAC experience an asset
- Experience in the use of construction codes, practices, and equipment is essential
- Participate in an on-call rotation
- Backflow certification is an asset
