**Job description**:
**This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain autonomy, implement policies and participate in the growth of an expanding group of companies. As time goes on, this role can develop into a CFO position where you can lead others to implement the policies, procedures and processes you have created.**

**As a Controller for Designer Capital, a typical day might include**:

- **Ensure that accounts payable are paid on time.**
- **Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly.**
- **Process payroll and commissions to staff and contractors.**
- **Monthly reconciliation of operating companies.**
- **Tracking and paying of related company shareholder loans**
- **Preparation of year-end financials for up to 11 related companies.**
- **Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations**
- **Manage the production of the annual budget and forecast**
- **Provide financial analyses as needed, particularly for capital investments and expanding business lines.**
